Hey there!
This is the beginning of my 4th year at Grand Valley State University. I am currently taking 6 classes this semester.
HST 210 – SWS India
HST 345 – Ancient Eurasia
HST 350 – Classical Greece and Rome
PLS 211 – International Relations
ED 205 – Computers in Education
As you can tell, I am very interested in History. It is my major, and my future. My goal is to get my undergraduate degree in History;then proceeding to get my graduate work in History, and then to get my P.h.D. in History. After this long period of academic study in the pursuit of my career (a professor and a historian), I will work as a professor at a college teaching history to bright young minds.
Previously, I have used this technological resource (wordpress) in my ENG 311 class, and will now be using it in my ED 205 class. Enjoy!

Hey there everyone! This is just a first post, trying to get a feel for how everything on this blog site works. So far so good I guess… I suppose I owe all of you a little bit of an introduction to my site and to myself. Here goes:
My name is Adam Love. I am currently a Junior at Grand Valley State University. These past years I have been studying to become a Secondary(7th-12th grades) History teacher. I am working on a Bachelor of Science degree with a History Major and an English Minor. However, over break I was having a conversation with a newly acquired friend, and during the conversations I was gradually confronted with a different alternative to teaching Secondary History. Perhaps I should instead of getting a job as a teacher in High School, I should stay in school and work straight to a PhD. It would allow me to reach my end goal of becoming a college professor much faster, and hopefully with an easier means of paying off my student loans.
So, with this possiblity weighing my mind, I begin my 6th semester here at Grand Valley State University. Thankfully, my classload this semester is to my liking. I am taking 3 300-level History classes, all of which seem like they will be great classes. Exciting!
Over the Holiday break, I had an opportunity to do something I have never done before… I went on a cruise. It was a 7-day, New Year’s Cruise in the Western Carribean. We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale on the 30th of December and boarded our cruise ship, the Star Princess (of Princess Cruise Lines), and then we embarked on our cruise. We stopped at 4 desinations (in this order), Ochos Rios, Jamaica; Grand Caymen; Cozumel, Mexico; and Princess Cays. It was such an incredible experience!
